Imagine if Dr. Phil ended up in a mental institution on suicide watch. This happens to Dr. Ruth Jacobs, in his newest stage play “A Bone to Pick with God.” Set in a mental health facility, “A Bone to Pick with God” explores the theme “where mental health meets faith,” through the lens of six characters. “A Bone to Pick with God” drives home the notion that no one is exempt from mental illness, it’s never too late to seek assistance, and there are places to go for help.
