“The history & DNA of stepping has been in African culture for centuries dating back to the 1500s. Stepping promoted unity back then, creating lifetime relationships. Over the years stepping has transcended from HBCU campuses and beyond reaching millions. Stepping has been featured in movies such as Spike Lee’s ”School Days” and Sony Pictures’ “Stomp the Yard”. Step shows display unity of brotherhood & sisterhood for sororities and fraternities. This family event will bring back memories for some, sparking the minds of the future to pursue higher education. We have been through a lot in Our country over the past few years! Join us to kick off this icebreaker for the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic festivities, Labor Day weekend in Canton, Ohio”.
